The Trainee Accountant role is for first-year trainees starting their SAICA training contract in 2026. The position is within the SNG Grant Thornton Assurance division. The training contract helps candidates achieve SAICA competencies to register as Chartered Accountants. The role provides generalist expertise across a broad range of commercial sectors. Trainees gain exposure to various client industries, from listed companies to start-ups. The role includes hands-on experience with clients and management. An open-door policy with managers and partners encourages learning and collaboration. Mentorship and guidance are provided throughout the training period.

Qualifications
